Breaking news...inmate no.2215670 apprehended!
Mr. Sherriff-Bee and Mr. Depute-Turtle, town heroes! The escapee was caught a few feet from his crib. The inmate's identity has just been revealed... Mr. Baby! It's you!
W-A-N-T-E-D, inmate no.2215670
Have YOU seen this baby? He's escaped from his crib this morning, he is considered drooling and dangerous!
Here yee, here yee!
Every morning, James holds a town meeting with his crib mates...
Here he was this morning... serious business!

Happy Birthday... well, not quite!
Here it is! James Wolf at two months... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We had ourselves another photo shoot, and the results are in!
Looking back, here he is at 1 month... Happy Birthday!

These are other photo shoot photos that didn't make the cut that I couldn't help adding to this post:

On Wednesday, James Wolf got his first shots, and boy was it painful... I'm not sure if it hurt him or me most. I almost cried! James W. screamed bloody murder for each shot, but a few moments later he was fine... I was not so fine afterwards, I was a shaking, sweating mess of a mom.
Mondays are tough... mom to the rescue!

My mom spent the day with James Wolf and I... what would we do without her. Moms are simply amazing! She brought over goodies, helped out with the little man AND had time to make this lovely craft while I was taking a much needed nap.
Wrrraaahhhhh!

Sometimes, it isn't easy being James Wolf. Life appears to be full of challenges.
Apple of my eye
Yesterday, in celebration of Dave's (aka Beveroni, Raven, Tarzan, old man) birthday, we went apple picking in Mt-St-Gregoire. We had loads of fun walking around, tasting different types of apples, petting various cute farm animals, feasting on amazing apple doughnuts and giggling. James W. slept through everything in his carrier. When he's old enough, we'll be sure to show him these pictures.
Hangin' with the "boubs"
Wednesday, October 15, 2008
Boubou (aka Boubs, Boubies, Bouberoni) is counting the days until James W. moves out... here he is with the baby and I and, of course, you guessed it, I'm feeding James.
Happy Thanks Giving!
Isn't it 1 hour per pound? Just kidding.
Mr. Baby has been EXTREMELY fussy lately. We think that he's going through another growth spurt.
Adrian discovered that there is nothing that soothes a fussy baby better than chillaxin' under the exhaust fan in the kitchen, turned up to maximum and strapped to a changing pad... safety first!

The call of the rooster...
Mr. Baby wakes up at 5:30am now. When he wakes up, we all wake up, except for me, I get to sleep a little bit more.
Adrian, James W. and Boubou have taken the habit of watching the sun rise (well, Boubou just rubs himself on his catnip plant ouside, he couldn't care less about pretty landscapes) .

Lost and found

Sometimes, James Wolf hides in his blankets, but we always en up finding him...
Flower power!
We started James Wolf on cloth diapers this week. They just make sense AND they are just so darn cute!
We went to the diaper store and couldn't resist getting him this pair (which is for girls!) with pink and purple flowers.

Turn that frown upside down
During the last few days, James has been making us literally melt with this new thing that he can do now: SMILE! And not those gassy smiles, but real ones.
Adrian and I now seem to live only for these smiles and we'll go to great lengths to get them. His secret weapon is smiles... but don't tell him! I just realized that I'm probably never going to say "NO" to him, if it means turning that sweet little smile of his upside down.
Here are some thursday morning in-bed smiles.
