Three's company!

The big "F" day has finally arrived!

Well, although Mr. Baby is not quite 6 months old (he's 7 days shy of it), Papavich and I decided he was ready for "solids", if solids are in fact the the word used to describe 1 tsp. of soup-like rice cereal mixed in with 1 tbs. of water.


The first few bites were a little messy, in it went and then out it came...

"Oh joy...what fun!"

But after a few tries, in it went and them down it disappeared !

First, Mamavich fed Mr. Baby



Then, it was Papavich's turn

And when all was said and done...

Mr. Baby was very upset that it was already over!

Bubbles and a baby bums...

6:30pm is perhaps the cutest time of day around here because it just so happens that it's BATH TIME!

Sitting pretty... and a little bit of twirling!

We have been practicing our sitting techniques and pacifier biting and twirling routine very diligently over the last few weeks in preparation for... MR. BABY EATING FOOD!

Opening Night

Well, it would seem that James Wolf LOVES playing the piano. Maybe it's because of all those Liberace videos we watch as a family, but February is "piano in the morning, piano for lunch and piano before bed"... and sucking my face all the time (nipple confusion I think is what they call it these days)!

James Wolf actually pounds the keys with his little plump fingers and fists with so much joy and excitement. As you are about to see, opening night was going swimmingly until...

He was sailing through his set like an old pro...

"Middle C is out of tune!"



And James Wolf threw a tantrum unlike anyone had ever seen.

Despite tuning issues and terrible tantrums, the show was a raging success... TO BE CONTINUED!

Papavich turns 33!

Well, February was extra special for us because Adrian turned 33 years...uh... young!

"Woah...watch it pa! I don't want my hair to catch on fire. It's finally growing

I made Adrian this incredibly decadent birthday cake this year, making Adrian's 33rd birthday even more memorable... it had 2 different icings!

5 months old!

James turned 5 months old a few days ago. On the 22nd of every month, we take a photo of him on this chair, with his lion friend to see just how much the little man has grown... let's look back!

A typical BFF day starts with James reading the paper to Boubou:

"Mom, just take the photo already! My jaw is starting to hurt!"

"Snow is on the way Boubs... 20cm by tonight!
Better make sure that dad has gloves!"

"Your stocks are really losing value Boubou..."

After having read the paper and napped, BFF Boubou and James W play a little bit on the nice mat that grandma Popovich got for them...

"High five Boubs!"

After more playing and still more naps, BFF Boubou and James go read in James' room:

"Here she comes Boubou... pretend you don't see her!"

"So, where were we?"

"Ouuhhh, ahhhhh! How do I get that in my mouth!?"

FACT: There is really nothing cuter than a baby's bottom... so, in homage to this, we had ourselves another little photo shoot this morning.

So, here's to James Wolf's bum, in all it's softness, pudginess and glory... and to baby bottoms all around the world!
